Delete your account in the app

In the latest version of Gita Habit, open Profile → Settings → Delete account and confirm. Your request is queued securely and processed within 24 hours, usually sooner. You will be signed out immediately. Deletion is permanent and cannot be cancelled once requested.

Keep the app installed and reopen it to check the deletion status. The app confirms when deletion is complete without retaining your email address. Populated community groups you own are transferred to another member; your own activity and membership are deleted.

If automatic Apple authorization revocation is unavailable, also remove Gita Habit under your Apple Account’s Sign in with Apple settings. This does not delay deletion of your Gita Habit data.

We retain the deletion-request correspondence and a minimal record that the request was completed for up to 30 days, solely to process, verify, and respond to the request. The automated flow retains only a random deletion-receipt hash, status and timestamps for 30 days after completion, with no account ID or email, then removes it during daily cleanup. Personal records are removed from the active database. Infrastructure backups and third-party operational logs expire under their respective retention policies and are not restored as active accounts.

We may retain limited information if required by applicable law, or where necessary to protect against fraud or security incidents. If this applies, we will explain it to you.
